Confidence in the use of an avalanche transceiver is an important first step towards mountain safety Powder Extreme takes mountain safety very seriously and equips all skiers with avalanche probes, shovels and transceivers as well as instruction on their use. However, many clients also decide to take our two hour transceiver practice session to increase their confidence and experience. The sessions run after the last lift has closed and so do not interfere with a full day of skiing on the mountain. No experience is required to attend the course but you can never have too much! The cost of the two hour session is £25 (CHf 50).
