Verbier is known as the freeride capital of Europe and when you look up at the surrounding peaks and their impressive chutes, gullies and couloirs you will know why!
Verbier has some of the most challenging terrain in the Alps which is easily accessible directly from the lift system or after only the briefest of hikes. However, to find many of the best lines usually requires a little local knowledge and a degree of confidence. As a result many lines of powder remain untracked for days after a snowfall – which is great news for anyone on a Powder Extreme clinic! There are also over 250 miles of piste skiing and so plenty of terrain for beginners and intermediate skiers.
Verbier itself combines traditional Swiss charm with the infamous night life of The Farm, the Mont Fort pub and the delights of the Casbah. There are also more chilled out venues such as the Farinet – the starting point for our après ski session at the end of the clinic.
